| 描述： | Bifunctional enzyme involved in steroid-hormone metabolism and cholesterol biosynthesis (PubMed:6946726, PubMed:9658408). Catalyzes the NADP(H)-dependent reduction of estrogens and androgens and regulates the biological potency of these steroids (By similarity) (PubMed:9658408). Converts estrone (E1) to a more potent estrogen, 17beta-estradiol (E2) (PubMed:9658408). Converts dihydrotestosterone (DHT) to an inactive form. Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid vortex or vigorously pipetting the protein.
